Are you an experienced highway design professional looking to make a real impact?
We're looking for an Engineer to join our Highways Projects Team, helping deliver schemes that improve safety, connectivity and sustainable travel across the borough.
You'll work on a wide range of projects including active travel, road safety, highway maintenance, traffic signals, bus infrastructure and developer-led schemes, taking projects from design through to construction.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in highway design and project delivery
- Knowledge of highway standards, legislation and CDM regulations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder and project management abilities
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across the full project lifecycle while helping shape Blackburn with Darwen's transport network.
