As part of their continued growth strategy, they are looking to add a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to their high performing and successful Marketing team at Ewood Park. Fan engagement sits at the core of everything the club does. This role offers the opportunity to shape how the club connects with its supporters, locally and globally, creating memorable experiences that build loyalty, strengthen the brand, and drive revenue across key areas including ticketing, retail, hospitality, memberships, and commercial partnerships.

In a talented and collaborative Marketing function spanning Digital, Creative, and Content, the role will lead and develop a team while influencing the club’s wider marketing direction.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Fan Engagement
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase fan interaction, loyalty, and advocacy through digital channels, including contests, giveaways, and interactive content
    • Develop and execute engaging integrated marketing campaigns for the club’s commercial products, across a variety of channels (social media, paid media, email marketing, content marketing, etc.) that speak to a variety of identified audiences
    • Work with the club’s CRM provider to develop fan understanding and profiling abilities.
    • Develop campaigns that build the database of engaged audiences and utilise data‑driven insights to segment target audiences and personalise campaigns for different fan demographics, ensuring content resonates with both local and global fanbases
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyse campaign performance through key metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimise future initiatives and demonstrate ROI
  • Budget Management
    • Manage campaign budgets efficiently, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve the desired outcomes without exceeding financial limits
  • People Management
    • The club has an outstanding Marketing team of channel leads across Digital, Creative and Content. This is a People Management role, so previous people management experience is ideal.

Experience and Skills the Club is looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on campaign management, ideally within the sports industry
  • In‑depth understanding of football, fan culture and the football ecosystem
  • Knowledge and experience of ticketing sales systems
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing platforms and digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics
  • Experience working within and managing teams
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling copy for both internal and external comms
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • An innovative, proactive and driven mindset
