We are looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dynamic leader to support our Head of Health and Wellbeing.

Overall Purpose of the Role

The Deputy Head of Wellbeing & Targeted Services will play a key leadership role within BRCT supporting the strategic and operational objectives of the wellbeing and targeted services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead and inspire the Wellbeing and Targeted Senior Officers and Coordinators.
  • Manage key projects and service areas on behalf of the Head of Health and Wellbeing.
  • Ensure high standards of service delivery at the Community Wellbeing Hub.
  • Develop and implement targeted services for vulnerable groups.

Operations

  • Deputise for the Head of Health and Wellbeing in all operational matters.
  • Build partnerships across health, education, community, and statutory sectors.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and promote staff accountability.

Finance

  • Support budget management alongside the Head of Wellbeing and Targeted Services.
  • Assist in identifying funding opportunities and contribute to funding applications.

Data, Insights, and Outcomes

  • Lead the monitoring and evaluation of community wellbeing programmes.
  • Produce high-quality performance and impact reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support new funding opportunities.
  • Represent BRCT in a professional manner at all times.
  • Be flexible in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
