We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Computing to join our Apprenticeship Team. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with apprentices, employers and college colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and support across Computing apprenticeship programmes.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging learning sessions, conducting progress reviews, assessing apprentice work and providing individualised support to help learners achieve their qualifications and apprenticeship standards. Working with employers, you will ensure apprentices develop the technical knowledge, skills and behaviours required to succeed in the workplace whilst meeting programme and funding requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting learner recruitment, retention and achievement, contributing to the continued success and growth of the College’s apprenticeship provision.

What are we looking for?

You will be suitably qualified within a Computing or Information Technology discipline and have current industry knowledge across areas such as hardware, software, networking, infrastructure and/or software development.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload, meet deadlines and maintain accurate learner records.
