This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with an anticipated start date of mid-July. Blackbridge is an award-winning employer branding agency. In this role, you can expect to excel in a vibrant environment. Your role will see you taking care of essential tasks like running accounts payable, ensuring everything is processed accurately and on time, month-end tasks that help the board and the overall business, processing billings and undertaking regular analysis to help guide internal decision making. You’ll also be the go-to person for the coordination of the day-to-day finances of smaller partner companies. Reporting into our Financial Controller, you’ll be able to tackle your tasks independently and receive managerial support at the same time. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, communicative and confident.
Key tasks include:
- Manage the accounts payable process with accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure all costs are processed on time to support monthly reporting cycles
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
- Support the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end tasks
- Manage the accounts of smaller sister companies, with guidance from the Financial Controller
- Ensure timely submission of statutory filings, including VAT, P11D, and similar requirements
- Contribute to improving efficiency in financial processes and systems
- Communicate clearly and effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders

The Person we’re looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a fast-paced or creative environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Organised and reliable, with the ability to manage deadlines and meet key reporting dates
- Strong communication skills, confident in explaining financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- Able to prioritise and remain calm during busy periods
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-moving environment
- Experience of Sage and Concept (desirable, not essential)
