We’re looking for emotion designers—a motion designer who creates films that stir something deep inside our audiences. Think quirky love affairs between the apple and the paper clip on your desk unfolding as stop‑motion animation, or high‑octane montages of creative transitions that make a tech company look genuinely disruptive. The edits we create need to be refreshingly beautiful, making the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

We want artists capable of conjuring stories that we imagine together. If you’re an experienced motion graphics designer and editor who knows how to bring footage to life, we’ll give you the time and resources you need to do work you can truly be proud of.

Responsibilities and Expectations

You won’t be given a day to create a week’s worth of animation or dumped with user‑generated content. Instead, you’ll begin projects by thinking conceptually, collaborating with other creatives, and presenting varied styles of film to clients. You will explain to them what is needed to gather the raw footage required. We invest in your work and department because we have a huge demand for your craft.

You will be working for high‑profile clients across diverse industries, alongside producers, designers and directors. You can base a concept on a bizarre new trend or an exciting example you’ve come across—if you’re passionate about it, we’re all ears. You may be engaged in two‑camera shoots rather than relying on stock footage.

Why Blackbridge?

With numerous industry awards, we push boundaries in employer branding—an area of marketing that is increasingly important. We help people build their futures with world‑renowned brands such as Skyscanner, Siemens and Entain. This role allows you to build brands from scratch and manage campaigns from end to end. Our close‑knit creative hub in Spitalfields, London encourages collaboration and creativity. We’re employee‑owned, which means you’ll earn a share of our profits after twelve months of service.

Benefits

  • Employee‑owned model: after 12 months you become a Partner and receive your share of profits.
  • Employee‑owned membership gives us a Partner Councillor to represent staff and influence business decisions.
  • Hybrid work policy: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
  • Regular social events including quiz nights, karaoke, and drinks at local pubs and bars.
  • 25 days holiday with 1.5 days gifted over Christmas.
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme offering mental health support and counselling.
  • Health Cash Plan for everyday healthcare costs and discounts.
  • Enhanced parental pay and leave.
  • Company pension scheme.
