Founded in 2017 by husband and wife team, Sergio and Lynsey Verrillo, Blackbook has rapidly established itself as one of the UK’s leading wineries. Known for our core range of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, we also embrace an experimental approach to wine, constantly innovating with new styles and varieties. At Blackbook, we foster a small, energetic, and collaborative work environment. We work flexibly and fluidly, adapting to the needs of each project and always striving to deliver the best in both wine and customer service.

- Sales & Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the team to design and implement effective sales and marketing strategies that elevate the Blackbook wine range.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the Blackbook brand at industry events, trade shows, and tastings, raising awareness and promoting our wines to new customers and partners.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets, providing management with insights on performance and market trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the winery team to ensure the highest standards of product quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
- Occasional Winery Involvement: Participate in winery operations, including logistics, packaging, and other tasks as needed to support the business.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in wine/alcohol sales, with a solid track record in both the on-trade and off-trade markets.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach, driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong existing network in the beverage industry is preferred, with an ability to foster new relationships.
- A customer-centric approach to account management, with the ability to deliver training, negotiate, and effectively communicate product details.
- Passion for English wine is a bonus but not essential.
- Comfortable with occasional travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
