JOB PURPOSE: To develop the annual sales and marketing strategy for Amazon platforms ensuring it remains in line with the overall company strategy. To achieve sales and contribution targets for the directly managed Amazon platforms.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create a sales and marketing strategy for both the Vendor and Seller Amazon accounts in line with the brand’s overall growth and brand building objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations for Vendor Central and Seller Central accounts.
  • Handle PO’s, timely replenishments to maintain stock flow and avoid stockouts.
  • Create, optimize and maintain product listings (titles, bullets, descriptions, A+ content) & constantly monitor to improve sales conversion and ensure that it is in line with company’s website content.
  • Manage ASIN setup, variations, parent-child relationships, and bulk buys.
  • Resolve any listing issues, suppressed ASINs, and data discrepancies on platforms.
  • Maintain account health, weekly performance metrics, and compliance with Amazon policies.
  • Act as the main point of contact with Amazon (Vendor Managers, Support, Case Management).
  • Direct and manage all on-site advertising and paid content, working with the relevant agency provider.
  • Ensure that all expenditure achieves the pre-set ROAS, TACOS, CVR and overall profitability.
  • Absorb and understand the company’s mission and vision, living its values.
  • Possess detailed knowledge and understanding of all the products in the range.

JOB CONTEXT: Targeted product range of premium food and drink on-the-go and food storage products (water bottles, charcoal filtration, lunch boxes, food flasks, travel cups, thermoses, lunch bags etc). Currently operating a fast-growing Vendor account on Amazon UK, and a fast-growing Seller account on Amazon USA and a recently launched Seller account in France. A small close-knit team of 20 people, working together and assisting each other to develop and grow the business. Close working with the trade sales managers, commercial director, managing director, graphic designer and BTC sales manager. 3 days per week office-based position with flexibility for home working Monday and Friday. The company demonstrated high growth in 2025 and is scheduled to continue with an accelerated growth path; many new products are planned to launch to respond to the current positive consumer trends in food and drink on-the-go, health and wellness and sustainability.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • An entrepreneurial outlook – someone who is happy to work outside the norm and take on full ownership and responsibility for the job function.
  • A tenacious approach, driven by objectives and targets.
  • Written communication skills of the highest level – someone who can write in a way that reflects the premium nature of the brand and who has an extremely high attention to detail and grammatical accuracy.
  • Evidence of both creative and commercial initiative; ability to quickly identify opportunities and react in the right way.
  • Extremely high level of numeracy, as evidenced by being able to analyse and rate the effectiveness of campaigns and investment, and to understand what corrective measures should be put in place.
  • 4 - 5 years’ experience managing Amazon platforms for a consumer durables brand.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon algorithms, buy box, SEO, and ranking factors.
  • Ability to lead and navigate Amazon support systems for compliance and resolving issues quickly.
  • Experience with Amazon Advertising and performance analysis & optimization.
  • Knowledge of Amazon tools (Helium, Jungle Scout etc) would be desirable.
  • An awareness, understanding and interest in environmental and ecological issues and trends.
  • An interest in design, and products with a high design/premium bias.
  • A friendly, supportive and easy-going person, who works autonomously and as part of a team.
  • A graduate with a keen desire to grow with an entrepreneurial small business as it expands.
