This position reports to: Regional General Manager – EMEA & Asia.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and lead the Demand Planning function for the ELIP Business Line EMEA — a new and critical capability within our organization. You will have full regional accountability for demand planning across all product lines and all manufacturing sites, ensuring that customer demand signals are translated into reliable supply plans and that our operations are always one step ahead.
Each day, you will drive planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time, and ensure adherence to inventory and supply plans. You will work in close coordination with the planners within each of our manufacturing units, who remain locally embedded, ensuring alignment between regional demand visibility and site-level execution.
This is a newly created role, sitting within the Operations function and reporting to the Head of Operations. It is a unique opportunity to shape the demand planning process from the ground up and make a direct impact on our ability to serve customers across the EMEA region.
This role contributes to the ELIP Business Line in the EMEA region. Main stakeholders are site planners, site Operations Managers, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Manager, Distribution Center and the BL EMEA Leadership Team.
The work model for this role is: onsite/hybrid.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Regional Demand Planning Ownership: Own and lead the end-to-end demand planning process for the full ELIP EMEA portfolio across all product lines and manufacturing sites. Define the planning framework, tools and standards to be applied consistently across the region.
- S&OP Process Leadership: Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for ELIP EMEA — driving alignment between commercial demand forecasts, production capacity and inventory levels across all sites. Provide clear visibility of supply capacity and regional supply objectives into the S&OP cycle.
- Short-term Planning & Execution: Run a robust short-term planning and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process, ensuring seamless alignment between planning and day-to-day execution across all manufacturing units.
- Coordination with Site Planners: Work in close coordination with planners embedded in each manufacturing site, providing regional direction and ensuring consistency of approach, data quality and adherence to the regional supply plan. Support and develop the planning community across the network.
- Inventory Management: Drive inventory optimization across the ELIP EMEA network — balancing customer service levels with working capital efficiency. Define inventory targets and monitor adherence across all sites and product lines.
- Customer Order Execution Support: Support the profitable execution of customer orders in coordination with Sales, Operations and supply units — ensuring on-time delivery and lead time commitments are met consistently.
- Forecast Accuracy & Continuous Improvement: Partner with Sales and Marketing to improve forecast accuracy and translate commercial pipeline visibility into operational readiness. Continuously improving planning tools, processes and capabilities across the organization.
- Performance Reporting: Define and track key planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turns, on-time delivery). Provide regular performance updates to the Head of Operations and BL EMEA Leadership Team with clear analysis and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications for the role:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field. APICS CPIM or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain or operations in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing planning processes across multiple sites or in a regional scope.
- Strong track record in S&OP/S&OE process ownership and cross-functional alignment.
- Experience working with and coordinating distributed planning teams across geographies.
- Background in electrical installation products, construction or adjacent industries is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of demand planning methodologies, S&OP processes and inventory management principles.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset — able to translate complex demand signals into clear, actionable plans.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills — able to align Sales, Operations and Finance around a common plan.
- Strong proficiency in SAP planning processes and tools, particularly PP, MRP and PP/DS, is a must; experience with S/4HANA is a plus.
- Comfortable working across multiple sites, cultures and business functions in a matrix organization.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
