This position reports to: Business Controller

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead financial processes and transactions to optimize financial performance within the factory/site. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions.

Our Team Dynamics

You will lead a team of 4 colleagues, where you will be able to thrive and support the development of direct reports. You'll work closely with the Leadership Teams across 2 manufacturing sites helping to ensure that both individual and business objectives are delivered and deliver high class Financial Data to the team to support key decision making.

Work model: onsite with travel to Coleshill.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

  • Contributing to the definition of the finance strategy for your respective factory/manufacturing site.
  • Serving as the key partner to factory managers in determining strategy for your own area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing them, and adjusting, as needed.
  • Translating the finance strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets and overseeing the business planning and forecasting process for your area of responsibility.
  • Ensuring robust Business Controls are in place, regularly reviewed and tested and in line with group policies/procedures.

Qualifications for the Role

  • You are highly skilled in delivering high class Financial Analysis, converting complex data into meaningful metrics.
  • You enjoy working in the manufacturing industry.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in a Financial Leadership role, in manufacturing/operations and have excellent leadership skills.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP, and preferably have experience of, and played a key role in ERP system changes/implementation.
  • You are passionate about Manufacturing, and delivering best in class financial reporting to the Factory Leadership Teams and other Senior Management.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • You hold current UK driving license and are comfortable with travelling between 2 locations.
  • Preferably hold a recognized Financial Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or be able to demonstrate extensive experience in profession.
