Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children under 2
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS
- Act as a Key Person, building strong, trusting relationships with children and families
- Observe, assess, and support each child’s individual development
- Collaborate with Room Leaders and senior staff to maintain exceptional standards
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
Qualifications
- Level 2 qualification or above in Early Years / Childcare (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years’ experience in an early years setting
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
- A kind, nurturing, and enthusiastic nature
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
- DBS, Paediatric First Aid, and Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain)
