Responsibilities
- Creating a fun, safe, and stimulating space where children feel happy, secure, and excited to learn.
- Delivering engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Acting as a key person, building strong relationships with children and their families.
- Supporting, guiding, and mentoring junior team members with positivity and encouragement.
- Observing, tracking, and planning for individual children’s development.
- Working closely with Room Leaders and Heads of Unit to maintain high standards in care and education.
- Ensuring all safeguarding and health & safety practices are followed, always.
Qualifications
- Level 2 or above in Early Years Education/Childcare (CACHE, NVQ, etc.)
- At least 2 years’ experience in an early years setting.
- A solid grasp of the EYFS framework and safeguarding best practices.
- A kind, nurturing nature and strong leadership and communication skills.
- Up-to-date DBS, Paediatric First Aid, and Safeguarding Training (or willingness to obtain).
