We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Club Lead to join our team!
If you have a passion for early childhood development and experience working with children in a play or educational setting, this is the role for you. As a Club Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Breakfast and After-School Club, delivering engaging and safe activities while leading a supportive team. Key Responsibilities:
*Curriculum Management: Organise and deliver fun, educational activities for children aged 4-11 years, promoting their development and well-being.
*Staff Leadership: Lead, support, and inspire a team of Playworkers. Ensure staff rotas and attendance are managed efficiently.
*Logistics and Administration: Oversee daily operational tasks, including child registers, school pick-ups/collections, and paperwork.
*Health and Safety: Ensure a safe environment, maintaining hygiene standards, conducting safety checks, and following safeguarding guidelines.
*Parent and Team Communication: Respond to parent queries, send regular updates, and collaborate with staff to ensure effective communication.
*Club Development: Assess the club’s performance, provide feedback to management, and implement improvements.
Skills & Experience:
*Previous experience working with children in a play or educational setting is essential.
*Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
*A genuine passion for working with children and helping them thrive.
*Knowledge of early childhood development and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is a plus.
*Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety regulations.
Qualifications:
*NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) or a related qualification.
*First Aid Qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
*Enhanced DBS check required.
