We are looking for a calm, professional and motivated individual to join our busy Airport Transfer Team as a Part Time Specialist Dispatcher & Call Handler. Our company specialises in Airport Transfers and long-distance travel across the UK. This role is critical in ensuring journeys run smoothly, efficiently and on time, particularly where live flight monitoring, time-sensitive bookings and high levels of customer service are essential.

This is a fast-paced and highly rewarding role where you will be responsible for coordinating drivers, handling customer calls and supporting the smooth running of our transport operation. Previous experience is not essential. We are happy to provide full training to candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, communication skills, professionalism and ability to remain calm under pressure.

As the first point of contact for customers and drivers, you will play a vital role in delivering a safe, reliable and responsive service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls professionally and efficiently
  • Coordinate and dispatch drivers using our specialist booking system
  • Monitor live journeys and respond to operational issues in real time
  • Support customers with bookings, updates and enquiries
  • Prioritise jobs effectively during busy periods
  • Communicate clearly with drivers, customers and management teams
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Experience

Previous experience in dispatch, call handling or transport operations is welcomed but not required. Full training will be provided for suitable candidates with the right attitude and work ethic.

What We Offer

Full training and ongoing support. Competitive pay of £16 per hour.

Available Hours

We are currently looking for candidates who can commit to at least one of our daytime operational shifts, with additional evening hours available for those seeking more flexibility or extra hours.

Available Shifts
  • Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Sunday: 10:00am - 4:00pm
  • Evening shifts available Monday - Friday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
Shift Requirements

Candidates must be available for at least one daytime shift (Friday and/or Sunday). Applicants may also choose to work additional evening shifts. Candidates able to cover both daytime shifts are strongly encouraged to apply. This role may particularly suit individuals seeking part-time work, flexible evening hours, or those looking to develop experience within a fast-paced operational and customer service environment.
