Due to continued growth, I’m currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work with a well-established machining business near Oldbury. As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the continued performance and reliability of our manufacturing operations. The right candidate should possess a mixture of electrical and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manual, CNC, and injection moulding machinery
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively
  • Respond to breakdowns and machine issues to minimise downtime
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and performance
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Work safely and ensure all maintenance activities comply with company procedures
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams across sites to support operational goals

Experience / Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years Experience Working As a Maintenance (Essential)
  • Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings (Essential)
  • Ability to read electrical schematics (Essential)
  • Experienced with Maintaining & repairing Machining centres, Lathes and other plant equipment (Essential)
  • Attention to detail with the ability to analyse, fault find and implement solutions (Essential)
