Shift
Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:00 pm
Duties
- Operate machinery in the heat treatment area (chargers).
- Collect work from the forgings department and load it for heat treatment.
- Operate pendant and cab-controlled cranes within the machine shop (all LOLER and associated training will be provided).
- Manage logistics of the department by moving goods using FLTs and cranes.
- Load and unload vehicles via forklift or crane.
- General cleaning, tidying, and removal of unwanted items from the department.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work as a team to maximise productivity.
- Maintain a safe working environment and comply with the company’s H&S policy.
Qualifications
- 3‑5 years experience operating counterbalance FLTs (essential).
- Experience working within a foundry (desirable).
- Experience operating overhead cranes (desirable).
