About the role

Our JustGiving brand team is focused on telling real stories that inspire generosity and make a positive impact. As Social Media Team Lead, you’ll shape how JustGiving shows up across social platforms, turning social into a meaningful driver of brand growth, storytelling, and reach. This role partners closely with campaigns, PR and communications teams to build a distinctive, human social presence that reflects our purpose and values.

What you’ll be doing

  • Set and lead the organic social media strategy aligned to brand and marketing priorities.
  • Shape compelling storytelling through user stories, community participation, and creator‑led content.
  • Develop clear channel strategies, content pillars and principles to bring this to life.
  • Embed social into campaigns, events, and cultural moments from the earliest planning stages.
  • Lead and develop the social team and agency partners with clear direction and high creative standards.
  • Define and deliver how we show up at events and IRL moments to capture content that travels beyond the day.
  • Leverage the power of social to drive brand perceptions and contribute to how we win in LLMs & AI-led search.
  • Measure impact beyond reach and engagement, using insight to inform learning and investment.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience leading organic social for a consumer‑facing brand with clear ownership of strategy and outcomes.
  • Strong creative judgement and the ability to turn real stories into effective social content.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, formats, and emerging trends.
  • The ability to balance between leading and delivering multiple workstreams in tandem.
  • Experience managing agencies and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • A collaborative leadership approach with experience coaching or mentoring others.
