We’re looking for a Brand Design Lead, and you will shape and evolve JustGiving’s visual identity at a pivotal moment of investment in our brand. Our UK‑based Brand team at JustGiving champions our mission by shaping how our brand shows up in the world and how we connect with fundraisers and donors. As brand design lead, you’ll set and evolve our visual identity, ensuring it is distinctive, consistent, and impactful across every touchpoint.
This is a senior role that blends strategic creative direction with hands‑on design delivery, working closely with a small design team and cross‑functional partners to bring our brand to life at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing- Set the creative direction for JustGiving’s brand, ensuring a clear and consistent visual & verbal identity across channels.
- Lead and support the design team through planning, delivery, prioritisation and quality oversight while contributing hands‑on design work.
- Partner with marketing, product, content, and external agencies to deliver standout creative for campaigns and key brand moments.
- Own and evolve brand governance including guidelines, templates, and the brand hub.
- Plan and manage design workflows, budgets, and delivery using agile ways of working.
- Coach and develop the design team and our wider teams, demonstrating the influence of brand strategy.
- Senior‑level experience in brand or design roles with a strong portfolio across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Proven ability to combine strategic creative leadership with hands‑on design execution.
- Experience leading or mentoring designers, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
- Experience in managing multiple projects & team workflows in an agile environment.
- Strong working knowledge of design tools (including Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects & Canva).
- A strong understanding and experience of web design principles, accessibility and UX.
