The Opportunity
We are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm looking to appoint a Senior Partner - Conveyancing to lead and develop their residential property offering. This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced conveyancing professional with a strong track record of billing, team management and department growth. You will have full responsibility for driving performance, improving processes and scaling the conveyancing function. This is not a passive role - the firm is looking for someone who can take ownership, lead from the front and play a key part in the firm's continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the conveyancing department, setting strategy and driving performance
- Handling a reduced but high-value caseload of residential conveyancing matters where required
- Overseeing the full conveyancing process including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Managing, mentoring and developing a team of fee earners and support staff
- Driving billing performance, productivity and departmental profitability
- Implementing and improving processes, systems and compliance standards
- Ensuring high levels of client service and efficient case progression
- Working closely with senior leadership on business strategy and growth plans
- Contributing to business development and strengthening referral relationships
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with significant experience in residential conveyancing
- Proven track record of managing and leading a conveyancing team or department
- Strong billing history with the ability to drive revenue and performance
- Excellent technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property transactions
- Commercially minded with a focus on efficiency, scalability and growth
- Confident leader with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
