A leading London-based firm with a strong presence in the Music and Entertainment industry is seeking an experienced Senior Property Solicitor to head up its Property team. Acting for a high-profile client base, the firm offers a steady flow of high-quality work alongside the opportunity to further grow the department. This role will suit a commercially minded individual who can both manage existing instructions and contribute to business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Property team, supervising one junior member
  • Manage a caseload of predominantly residential matters, including sales and purchases (leasehold/freehold), transfers of equity, remortgages, and lease extensions
  • Handle a smaller volume of commercial property work
  • Oversee lender panel memberships and relevant accreditations
  • Deal with probate-related property transactions, liaising with executors, beneficiaries, and the Private Client team
  • Draft and advise on Declarations of Trust
  • Build and maintain client relationships, including generating new business

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Solicitor ideally with 8+ years’ PQE in property law
  • Strong residential property experience, with some commercial exposure
  • Experience supervising or leading junior staff
  • Familiar with lender panel processes and compliance requirements
  • Commercially aware with the ability to generate work; a following is advantageous
  • Confident working with high-profile clients
