Principal Electrical Engineer – Newcastle

As Principal Electrical Engineer you’ll lead engineering projects from design through to delivery, support colleagues when needed, and bring confidence and expertise to client interactions.

  • Degree or diploma in an engineering discipline (BSc/BEng or HND/HNC).
  • Significant experience delivering complex MEP design projects across a range of building types.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practice.
  • Experience using engineering design software such as Amtech, Dialux, Auto CAD, or similar.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to successful project delivery.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, schedules, and change control processes.
  • You may be a Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartership.
