Strategic Hiring Influence – You will act as a trusted talent acquisition partner, working closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to shape recruitment strategies, advise on best practice, and ensure confident hiring decisions that support business objectives.

End-to-End Recruitment Ownership – You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from role scoping and market benchmarking through to onboarding.

You'll deliver an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring managers at every stage.

Talent Attraction & Employer Brand – You will design and deliver innovative sourcing strategies across multiple channels.

This includes building strong talent pipelines while strengthening Black & White Engineering's employer brand in competitive markets.

Data-Driven Decision Making – You'll leverage recruitment data, market insights, and hiring trends to monitor performance, improve recruitment outcomes, and provide stakeholders with meaningful reporting that supports workforce planning and business growth.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership – You will build strong relationships with hiring managers, HR teams, and external partners to deliver effective recruitment solutions and attract the best talent for the business.

This is a newly formed internal TA Team, you will have the opportunity to shape internal recruitment delivery.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation – Working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues, you will help deliver a seamless recruitment process that identifies and secures top talent across the organisation.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience within Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or Resourcing, with a track record of successfully attracting and hiring niche technical talent within engineering, construction, consultancy, infrastructure, professional services, or similar specialist environments.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practice across sourcing, assessment, interviewing and candidate management.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools and platforms such as Linked In Recruiter to deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across multiple levels of the business.
  • Confidence using recruitment data and reporting to support evidence-based decision making and continuous improvement.
  • CIPD qualification, psychometric accreditation, or equivalent experience gained through the practical application of talent acquisition best practice would be advantageous.
