Black & White Engineering is more than a global MEP design consultancy - With a presence across five continents, we’re a team of innovators, problem-solvers and forward-thinkers shaping the future of the built environment. As we continue to grow with ambition, creativity and purpose, we’re now looking for a Document Controller who wants to be part of something genuinely impactful.
Joining our centralised Document Control Team, you’ll support project teams across the UK and Europe and play an essential role in ensuring our work is delivered with precision, consistency, and excellence. Reporting directly to the Lead Document Controller, you’ll become a trusted partner to engineers, project managers and clients alike - the steady hand that keeps complex documentation organised, compliant and flowing seamlessly.
Every day, you’ll immerse yourself in the detail, reviewing and auditing documents and drawings, ensuring everything is accurate and aligned. You’ll take ownership of issuing documentation through our electronic document management systems, maintaining clarity and control for internal teams and external stakeholders. With a keen eye for structure and formatting, you’ll shape documents not just to meet expectations, but to elevate our standard.
Working across multiple projects simultaneously, you’ll sit at the heart of collaboration, maintaining project numbering systems, issue registers, and ensuring compliance with internal QA procedures. You’ll thrive here if you bring proven document control experience within the construction industry and feel confident using platforms such as Autodesk BIM 360. Your attention to detail will be second nature, your organisational skills exceptional, and your ability to handle deadlines something you take pride in.
Most importantly, you’ll enjoy working with people — communicating clearly, collaborating openly, and helping drive quality across every project you touch. If you’re ready to join a global consultancy that values expertise, celebrates excellence and empowers you to make a real difference, then this is your moment. At Black & White Engineering, you won’t just support exceptional projects - you’ll help build the future.
