As Black & White Engineering continues to expand its specialist data‑centre acoustics team, we are seeking a dedicated Acoustic Engineer or Graduate Acoustic Engineer to support projects across the UK, Europe, and worldwide. Qualifications
- Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
- Experience or strong academic grounding in environmental acoustics
- Familiarity with ISO 9613‑2 noise modelling methodologies
- Experience with acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA, SoundPLAN, INSUL, or similar
- Understanding of international noise standards and regulatory frameworks
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting
Desirable / Advantageous
- Experience with GIS platforms (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS) for spatial analysis and environmental assessment
- Knowledge of relevant British Standards
- Hands‑on experience with on‑site acoustic measurements, particularly supporting UK commissioning and compliance activities
