As Senior Project Manager - Grid you’ll focus on grid services within EMEA, leading all aspects of medium to large projects with multiple clients, managing and leading teams of multi-discipline professionals and coordinating the activities of all third-party companies contributing to the project delivery. This role can be based at our offices in London (preferred) or Glasgow city centres in the United Kingdom. We work hybrid, 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home. Some travel throughout the EMEA region to project/client sites and BV offices will be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing risks related to cost, schedule, and quality throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and client satisfaction
  • Overseeing the day-to-day execution of projects, including financial metrics, planning, scheduling, and staffing
  • Coordinating technical requirements relating to grid and substation projects
  • Obtaining new/repeat business and supporting contract negotiations
Management Responsibilities

Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in grid and/or substation projects within the UK and wider EMEA region
  • Proven background or managing and leading teams of multi-discipline professionals
  • Experienced in coordinating the activities of all third-party companies contributing to the project delivery

All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification
  • Experience working with similar engineering consultancies
  • Experience in data centre design, EV charging infrastructure, BESS projects
Work Environment/Physical Demands
