This role can be based at our offices in London (preferred) or Glasgow city centres in the United Kingdom. We work hybrid, 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home. Some travel throughout the EMEA region to project/client sites and BV offices will be required.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing risks related to cost, schedule and quality throughout the full project lifecycle
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards and client satisfaction
- Overseeing the day‑to‑day execution of projects, including financial metrics, planning, scheduling and staffing
- Coordinating technical requirements relating to grid and substation projects
- Obtaining new/repeat business and supporting contract negotiations
- Acts as a project manager and is responsible for managing the project team. The composition of this team may vary by project.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in grid and/or substation projects within the UK and wider EMEA region
- Proven background in managing and leading teams of multi‑discipline professionals
- Experienced in coordinating the activities of all third‑party companies contributing to the project delivery
- PMP certification
- Experience working with similar engineering consultancies
