Black & Veatch is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing UK team. This is an opportunity to play a leading role in delivering complex engineering solutions across major infrastructure, energy and industrial projects. You'll act as a technical leader, work alongside multidisciplinary teams, influence engineering standards, and help solve some of the industry's most complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership across a range of projects and responsibilities, including:
- Leading the development and delivery of complex electrical engineering designs and solutions
- Acting as a trusted technical specialist and providing guidance to project teams
- Supporting multidisciplinary project delivery from concept through to execution
- Reviewing engineering deliverables and ensuring technical excellence, quality and compliance
- Developing engineering standards, procedures and best practices
- Managing technical scope, quality, budgets and schedules for assigned workstreams
- Collaborating closely with clients, project managers and engineering teams to deliver successful outcomes
- Supporting business development and helping identify future opportunities with existing and new clients
- Mentoring and developing engineers across the team, helping build future technical capability
- Contributing to solutions that address complex infrastructure and energy challenges globally
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:
- Power Generation
- Transmission & Distribution
- Grid Infrastructure
- Renewable Energy
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Industrial Facilities
- Data Centres
- Energy Transition Projects
Minimum Qualifications
We'd love to hear from candidates who have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Significant post-graduate engineering experience, typically 8+ years
- Experience delivering complex electrical engineering projects
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
- The ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring or project guidance
- A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
