Based in our Glasgow office, B&V is seeking a seasoned and strategic Regional Business Leader to spearhead our Infrastructure Advisory business across Europe & Middle East (EMEA). This leadership role is ideal for a visionary executive with a proven track record in EMEA business growth, team development, and forging high-level client relationships across a combination of heavy industries, financial institutions and developers.
As a key player in the EMEA Regional and Global leadership team, you will be instrumental in working with our Regional Market business unit & sales leadership to drive growth, build high-performing teams and lead senior-level engagements with a focus on innovation and the transition to a net-zero future. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of the energy transition, digital infrastructure lifecycle and decarbonization landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Business Growth & Strategy: Develops and executes strategic plans to expand our client base and increase revenue. Creates leverage and strengthens productive key relationships within client organizations. Seeks opportunities with new & existing clients. Leads the growth of the consulting services, including strategy, planning, implementation of org. designs, operating models & technology as well as asset lifecycle services. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities such as energy transition, decarbonization, resiliency, digitization, artificial intelligence, infrastructure modernization, etc. Bring expertise to drive market focus across critical solution areas including: data centers, smart grids, sustainable cities, renewables & new energy, critical infrastructure resiliency, etc. Collaborates with regional leadership team to understand and identify opportunities to advance overall B&V services portfolio through enablement of consulting and advisory services.
- Digital Infrastructure & Lifecycle Management: Oversee advisory and lifecycle management services related to multiple solution portfolios. Understand the asset lifecycle challenges required to plan, manage and optimize the performance and sustainability of clients’ infrastructure. Advise clients on business & digital transformation strategies that align with their energy, sustainability, and decarbonization targets.
- Client Engagement & Executive Relationships: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with C-suite and senior executives across all heavy industry sectors including energy, water, technology and industrial manufacturing, as well as government clients. Lead discussions with senior client stakeholders on the convergence of energy security and affordability, digital transformation, infrastructure modernization and decarbonization strategies. Collaborate with clients to develop and innovative multi-disciplinary solutions.
- P&L Management: Own and manage the regional P&L. Track and optimize financial performance across energy, sustainability, and digital infrastructure advisory services.
- Market Positioning & Thought Leadership: Position company as a market leader in energy, sustainability, and digital infrastructure advisory. Represent the firm at key industry conferences, digital forums, and sustainability events. Stay ahead of market trends and technological advancements to inform strategic decision-making and client offerings.
- International experience in the energy, sustainability, digital infrastructure, or decarbonization sectors.
- Proven experience in business/consulting environment.
- Proven Business development experience.
- Proven track record of driving business growth in energy, sustainability, or digital infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Experience in securing high-value engagements and nurturing executive-level relationships.
- Strong leadership experience, with a focus on mentoring and building high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of the energy transition, digital infrastructure lifecycle, and decarbonization landscape, with knowledge of regulatory frameworks and emerging technologies.
- Experience in managing P&L, with financial acumen to drive regional growth.
- Extensive network of industry connections with key stakeholders in energy, digital infrastructure, and corporate sectors.
- Relevant experience (Typically 10+ years) in a business/consulting environment.
