A leading private equity firm seeks a new team member to join their compliance function. We are in search of a dynamic Compliance Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that their private equity business operates in full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for integrity and ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the compliance team to implement and maintain the firm\’s compliance program.
- Monitor and assess regulatory changes and ensure the business adapts accordingly.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and audits.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and concerns.
- Stay current with industry best practices and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, law).
- Previous experience in compliance, preferably within the private equity or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, including but not limited to SEC, AML, and anti-corruption laws.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
