Working Model: 5 days in the office (this is a business-facing role, supporting PMs across Distressed Credit Loan Portfolio – Distressed Loans experience is a must).
Salary: £90,000 to £100,000 base salary + benefits (pro rata over 4 months)

An established and growing alternative hedge fund is seeking a Distressed Credit Operations Analyst to join the team on a 4-month fixed-term contract in London. This is an opportunity to work alongside an experienced front office investment team focused on Distressed Credit / Bank Loans across European and global markets. Thus we need candidates with proven, recent and in-depth Private Credit, Bank Loans experience covering Distressed Bank Loans Documentation, Distressed Loan settlements, and processing bank loan corporate actions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing Distressed Bank Loans – trade documentation processing covering stressed and distressed issuers
- Accounting for capital structures, covenant packages and legal documentation and Bank Loans Settlements
- Covering Corporate Actions processing across Distressed Bank Loans
- Preparing investment committee materials and presenting investment
Desired Profile:
- 3–8 years' experience in Distressed Credit, Special Situations, restructuring loans, leveraged finance or credit-focused hedge fund
- Distressed Bank Loans Settlements and Distressed credit documentation and restructuring processes
- Experience analysing stressed European or US credits – please note we cannot consider par or secondary loans, must have Private Credit, Bank Loans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-conviction investment environment
Prerequisite Requirements:
- Immediate or short notice availability is a must – max 1 month notice
- Proven track record processing complex Distressed credit and distressed loans
- Commitment to be 5 days in the office
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline
