• Job Title – Distressed Loans & Private Debt Operations Specialist

• Location – London

• Working Model – 4:1 (4 Days and 1 Day WFH)

• Salary – £90,000 to £110,000 base salary + benefits + bonus (*discretionary bonus ranging from 30% to 60%)

• RTW – UK Right to Work (*Permanent Role)

The Black Swan Group are currently partnered with a Distressed Bank Loan Debt & Private Credit Hedge Fund based in London.

The firm has seen impressive, annualised returns since inception and is currently embarking on a strategic growth period, with appetite to increase AuM and build a best-in-class Debt and Credit Trading Operations infrastructure while partnering with the front office Credit PMs.

This is a unique and high-profile opportunity to work directly and in person with the PMs and business, managing a wide-ranging role and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing Distressed Loans deals.
2. Bank loan analysis.
3. Loan documentation.
4. Loan Administration and life cycle events including Corporate Actions.
5. Onboarding new loans trading applications/systems and building a new Loans Operations team.
6. Working with the business to launch new products (Distressed Loans / Private Credit) and multi-asset investing including Private Equity, Fixed Income, and Commodities investments.

Given the nature to partner and work closely with the business, this role will be business facing. The firm operates a 4:1 working model, requiring 4 days in the London Office (based in the West End) and 1 day WFH. The business is looking for someone that is committed and comfortable being in the office to support its growth plans.

Prerequisite Requirements:

1. 5 to 8 years Bank Loans experience, with specialization and recent experience covering Distressed Loans, Private Debt, and Bank Loans Trading Operations with Buy Side experience.
2. Experience supporting new debt products, CLOs/Private Credit and managing all trading operational flow and risk management.
3. Expertise in managing all Loan portfolios, specifically Distressed Loans.
4. Life Cycle expertise, processing Corp Actions and communication with clients and counterparties.
5. Experience working on new project initiatives to build operations infrastructure, including onboarding new PMS/OMS Systems and setting up new vendors and 3rd party vendors.
