The Black Swan Group are currently partnered with a Distressed Debt & Private Credit Hedge Fund based in London.

The firm has seen impressive, annualised returns since inception, and currently embarking on a strategic growth period, with appetite to increase AuM and building a best-in-class Debt and Credit Trading Operations infrastructure and partnering with the front office Credit PMs who the team sit with and support daily.

• Currently working with Senior Management at the fund, to hire a Distressed Loans & Private Credit Operations Specialist to work directly with the Credit PMs in the London business.

• This is a unique and high-profile opportunity to work directly and in person, (same floor) as the PMs and business, to manage a wide-ranging role and responsibilities.

• Expertise in Banking Loans, Distressed Loans (preferably) and will consider Par Loans, with forte in managing all loans trade life cycle.

*Managing Distressed Loans deals.

*Bank loan analysis.

*Loan documentation.

*Loan Administration and life cycle events including Corporate Actions.

Given the significant inflows of new AuM and building out Distressed Loans Trading business, enhancing the operations infrastructure is crucial for the London business.

The role will involve lots of projects to manage and deliver including onboarding new loans trading applications / systems, building a new Loans Operations team and working with the business to launch new products (Distressed Loans / Private Credit) and multi asset investing including Private Equity, Fixed Income and Commodities investments.

Given the nature to partner and work hand and glove with the business, this role will be business facing and the firm operate a 4:1 working model, 4 days in the London Office (based in the West End) and 1 day WFH. The business is looking for someone that is committed and comfortable being in the office and supporting the growth plans of the business.

***Prerequisite Requirements for Distressed Loans / Private Credit Operations Specialist ~

• 5 to 8 years Bank Loans experience, with specialisation and recent experience covering Distressed Loans, Private Debt, Bank Loans Trading Operations with Buy Side experience.

• 4 Days in the office working model, directly sat with the PMs, Traders and C-Suite, committed to working in a hedge fund, that has a business facing and leading working environment and 1 Day WFH.

*Experience supporting new debt products, CLO’s / Private Credit and managing all trading operational flow and risk management.

*Expertise in charge of all Loan portfolios, managing Distressed Loans,

*Life Cycle expertise, processing Corp Actions and communication with clients and counterparties.

*Working on new project initiatives to build operations infrastructure, including onboarding new PMS/OMS Systems, building an Operations team, cross training setting up new vendors and 3rd party vendors, so prior experience working on and delivering project initiatives is required.
