Black Sheep Coffee is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and optimise supply chain operations across the UK to cover maternity leave. As part of an established market, this role focuses on maintaining efficient stock flow, fostering supplier relationships, and ensuring seamless operations for our stores.

With a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory management, and driving efficiencies within the UK supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage supply chain-related tickets raised by UK stores through Zendesk, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
  • Address operational queries and issues, ensuring stores maintain seamless operations.
  • Manage customer queries regarding all things e-commerce.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any supply-related issues and implement improvements to enhance service levels.
  • Maintain and update the inventory management system (Nory) with accurate product details and stock levels.
  • Oversee centralized ordering processes for all UK stores, ensuring efficient order placement and tracking.
  • Monitor inventory turnover to prevent shortages or overstock situations, optimizing stock levels.
  • Track and monitor orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery across all UK stores.
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to resolve delivery challenges and maintain smooth operations.
  • Use Power BI to review and analyse supply chain performance metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights to management, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve supply chain processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and scalability.
  • Coordinate supplier setup and communications for new store openings.
  • Support franchisees with onboarding and ordering information.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of new store activity using the NSO tracker.
About You
  • Experience: Previous experience in supply chain coordination, preferably within retail or food and beverage industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Zendesk, inventory management systems (e.g., Fourth), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights for operational improvements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
