We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Dustcart Drivers for a busy and well-established waste management operation. Offering £18.82 per hour, consistent weekday shifts, and ongoing work, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for stable, long-term employment.
As an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver (Refuse Driver), you will be responsible for completing residential and commercial waste collection routes, working alongside a dedicated team of loaders to ensure collections are completed safely and efficiently.
This is a hands‑on driving role within the waste management sector, ideal for reliable drivers who enjoy local routes and working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 dustcart vehicle on scheduled collection routes
- Completing residential and commercial waste collections
- Working alongside a team of refuse loaders
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and road traffic regulations
- Completing all route paperwork and vehicle documentation accurately
- Providing a professional and reliable waste collection service

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification

- Previous Class 2 Driving Experience Preferred
- Dustcart / Refuse Experience Beneficial
- Good Understanding of UK Driving Regulations
- Reliable, Punctual, and Safety Conscious
