As an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver (Refuse Driver), you will be responsible for completing waste collection routes across Southwark, working alongside a team of loaders to ensure efficient and safe operations. This is a hands-on driving role requiring previous dustcart experience, strong awareness of health & safety, and the ability to work within a fast-paced waste collection environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Driving a Class 2 dustcart vehicle on scheduled routes
- Leading and working with a team of refuse loaders
- Completing residential and commercial waste collections
- Carrying out vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensuring compliance with waste regulations and safety standards
- Assisting with collections where required
- Completing all relevant paperwork and route documentation
- £18.20 per hour + holiday pay
- £20.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing, consistent work

- Stable work within a local authority waste contract
- Start times: 03:00 or 10:00
- Average 7.5 - 8 hour shifts
