We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Haematologist to join a well-established multidisciplinary medical team in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality diagnostic and clinical haematology services, contributing to both malignant and non-malignant haematology care, while supporting service development, teaching, and clinical governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level care in clinical haematology, including both inpatient and outpatient services
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, including oncology and transfusion services
- Contribute to chemotherapy planning, transfusion medicine, and supportive care pathways as applicable
- Support acute haematology services and provide on-call consultant cover as required
- Work collaboratively with laboratory haematology, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health professionals
- Lead and contribute to clinical governance, audit, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
- Supervise, mentor, and teach junior doctors, trainees, and allied healthcare professionals
