We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to work closely with the Director of Maintenance to maintain a high-end residential building complex by performing repairs and improvements as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders as requested by residents
- Wood flooring and/or wallpaper replacement
- Paint/paint touch up
- Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing
- Conduct move-out inspections
- Minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting skills
Required:
- Experienced with electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting skills
- 1-3 years’ experience in facility or apartment building maintenance or related
- Experienced with hand tools, power tools, volt meters, apartment building maintenance
- Experience with painting and prep work
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs
- Must be able to work a rotational on-call schedule
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate verbally with tenants, management and co-workers
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong time management skills, attention to detail and thoroughness
