Responsibilities
- As a Senior Building Surveyor, you’ll work alongside a highly experienced, multi-disciplinary property team, providing technical and commercial advice across a broad range of surveying services.
- Your work will be varied, detailed and impactful, including:
- Technical due diligence surveys (commercial & residential)
- Condition surveys, schedules of condition, dilapidations and defect analysis
- Asbestos, access audits and fire risk assessments
- Preparing specifications, drawings and risk assessments for new build and refurbishment projects
- Leading quality assurance across projects, ensuring compliance with legislation
- Presenting clear, well-reasoned findings and recommendations to stakeholders
About you
- You’ll be a detail-oriented, confident surveyor who enjoys autonomy but thrives in a collaborative environment.
- You’ll bring:
- RICS Chartered status (or equivalent), or be working towards it
- Strong experience in a similar building surveying role
- Sound knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant legislation
- Experience across new build and refurbishment projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
