Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Building Surveyor, you’ll work alongside a highly experienced, multi-disciplinary property team, providing technical and commercial advice across a broad range of surveying services.
  • Your work will be varied, detailed and impactful, including:
  • Technical due diligence surveys (commercial & residential)
  • Condition surveys, schedules of condition, dilapidations and defect analysis
  • Asbestos, access audits and fire risk assessments
  • Preparing specifications, drawings and risk assessments for new build and refurbishment projects
  • Leading quality assurance across projects, ensuring compliance with legislation
  • Presenting clear, well-reasoned findings and recommendations to stakeholders

About you

  • You’ll be a detail-oriented, confident surveyor who enjoys autonomy but thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • You’ll bring:
  • RICS Chartered status (or equivalent), or be working towards it
  • Strong experience in a similar building surveying role
  • Sound knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant legislation
  • Experience across new build and refurbishment projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
