The Barbican Concert Hall is looking for an experienced and passionate individual to join the Music Department as a Technician with a proven lighting specialism, with experience in programming and lighting design to deliver world-class music and business events in the Concert Hall and associated areas, onsite and offsite.
The post holder will be working within a busy, skilled team to deliver high-level technical support to all music concerts & events across the Centre in the Barbican Concert Hall, foyers and commercial venues.
This position requires a high degree of experience in lighting, with a general understanding of other technical production disciplines, such as video, AV and stage sound equipment for a wide range of music, commercial, and streamed events.
The post holder will be expected to multi-task and work dynamically with a wide range of clients, artists and stakeholders, so excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
This is an irregular shift-based role spread over 7 days so weekend and evening work is required for this role.
