As we grow, we are seeking a Regional Business Development Consultant based in Dubai, UAE, to join our Business Development team and help us to spread our message to potential new customers and partners in the UAE and GCC area. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to lead our expansion efforts in the UAE and across the GCC with a deep understanding of the education, music or performing arts sectors and the ability to build strong relationships with local stakeholders. They will serve as the face of RSL Awards in the region, promoting our qualifications and services and helping us grow our presence in this key market.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion Development: Identify and establish relationships with potential customers, including international schools, music centres, and teachers across the UAE and wider GCC. Develop and grow a community of engaged educators and institutions promoting RSL Awards’ qualifications included graded music exams, vocational qualifications and Stageschool.
  • Territory Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a tailored business development strategy for the UAE and wider GCC. Set annual targets for growth and revenue in alignment with global goals. Provide regular progress updates and strategic feedback to RSL’s International Business Development team in London, UK.
  • Brand Representation: Represent RSL Awards at local trade shows, events, and industry networking opportunities. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent and positive brand representation across all touchpoints.
  • Market Research & Reporting: Conduct ongoing market research to monitor trends, competitor activity and consumer needs. Deliver actionable insights and reports to guide strategic decisions and future planning.
  • Operational Support: Support the organisation and execution of exam tours in the UAE and across the wider GCC, where required. Assist with examiner logistics, including accommodation and travel coordination.
  • Events and Community Engagement: Plan, attend and host workshops, showcases, teacher seminars, examiner visits and promotional events in the UAE and across the GCC. Build and maintain strong relationships with music schools, cultural organisations, performing arts academies and government or semi-government education entities. Where appropriate, coordinate RSL presence at regional education fairs and creative industry conferences.

Full time – flexibility required for client meetings.
