Professor of Trombone – Sabbatical Cover for One Term
Hourly Paid: £49.31 per hour to £57.29 per hour (including holiday pay)
The Guildhall School is looking for an experienced trombone professor to cover principal study teaching during the Summer Term 2025 (April 28 – July 4).
Hours: Up to 4 hours per week (exact hours to be confirmed).
The successful candidate may teach students at BMus and Masters levels, working as part of a committed team of experienced professors.
We are seeking a professor with the following skills:
- Experience of teaching at conservatoire level or equivalent.
- A performer with significant orchestral profile and experience.
- Dedicated to individual student development and following syllabus requirements.
- Committed to regular teaching of students.

Interviews will take place at the Guildhall School in March 2025.
