The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be Operational
- Supporting marketing and A&R teams with all aspects of campaigns across Decca
- Release management of physical and digital distribution from initiation to delivery
- Liaising with venues and promoters to coordinate label ticket buys
- Assisting with meetings – organisation and note taking
- Supporting Marketing Managers where appropriate
- Supporting on the organisation of artist visits / signings / showcases
- Communicating campaign details to internal and external teams
- Supporting on the creation, distribution and organisation of marketing assets
Be Administrative
- Ordering stock for the office and organising sending to artists and contacts
- Managing Uniport for required departmental invoicing, set up and assisting with budget management
- Arranging and organisation of digital assets into Universal systems Alpha / Box
- Creating audio links for contacts
- Management of Linkfire links
- Organising travel for artists and team when needed
- General admin supporting the marketing team
- Any other duties that support the marketing team
Person Specification
- Passionate about classical music
- Experience in a similar role (preferably in Marketing)
- The ability to learn quickly
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
- Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
- Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
- Self-motivated with the ability to deal with the routine tasks as well as the more interesting aspects of the role
- Tactful and diplomatic
- Hard working and enthusiastic
- Good IT skills i.e.: Word Packages and Excel
- Ability to use own initiative in terms of problem solving
