The Deputy Head of Strings (Upper Strings) is a key role in the College and will work alongside the Head of Strings and Assistant Head of Strings (Lower Strings) to continue to develop the world-leading teaching and learning of the Faculty. They will play a key role in orchestral and ensemble string playing at the RCM through teaching, coaching, leading auditions and student placements. They will be recognised for their experience at the highest levels of orchestral performance and, as a respected violin teacher, will develop their own class of violin students.
