Black Lines is a London-based business producing bottled and on tap cocktails. Over the last 8 years, we have established ourselves as a fast-growing and disruptive player in the drinks industry with a strong, dedicated team of 20 that spans Production, Operations, Finance, Marketing & Sales. We manufacture everything in-house in our factory in Tottenham, London with an approach that focuses on quality and innovation.
As a result, we have partnered with a number of top venues and retailers across the UK, including Selfridges, Whole Foods Market, The Standard Hotel, Wembley Stadium, Nobu, Megan's Restaurants and more.
Objectives
Black Lines is seeking a data-driven, analytical, and commercially minded Growth & Performance Marketing Manager to own our digital growth channels and ensure our campaigns deliver measurable results. This role is central to building and optimising our growth engine: from paid digital campaigns and CRM strategy to SEO and analytics.
Working closely with the Brand & Marketing Lead and Creative Designer, you will balance analytical rigour with creative collaboration β ensuring that campaigns not only look great, but are highly effective in driving reach, engagement, and customer acquisition. You will be the person who turns creative brand storytelling into scalable, measurable growth.

Working closely with one of the Co-Founders, you will have the opportunity to shape and grow the position of the brand and see the results in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid Media & Acquisition
- Develop and manage paid media strategy across paid social, Google Ads, retargeting and other performance channels.
- Plan and execute campaigns that maximise ROI, audience acquisition, and conversion.
- Continuously test, optimise, and scale campaigns to improve performance and efficiency.
- E-comm, CRM & Email Marketing
- Manage e-comm store, maximising traffic, retention, conversion and delivering product updates.
- Own and optimise CRM and email marketing strategy, including automation, segmentation, and personalisation.
- Create and deliver campaigns that drive engagement, retention and e-comm revenue.
- Ensure customer journeys are seamless, from first touch to repeat purchase.
- SEO & Website Performance
- Drive SEO strategy to improve organic visibility, keyword rankings, and site traffic.
- Work with internal/external teams to optimise website user experience and conversion rates.
- Monitor and improve site performance across key metrics.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Deliver performance dashboards and regular reports to leadership, providing clear insights and recommendations.
- Track KPIs across all growth channels and ensure spend is delivering positive ROI.
- Support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights.
- Budget & Targets
- Set and manage targets across all activities and channels.
- Strategise, allocate and manage budget to maximise brand growth.
- Track target across external marketing pursuits including collaborations and activations.
- Work closely with the Brand & Marketing Lead to align growth activities with creative campaigns.
- Partner with the Creative Designer to brief and adapt creative for paid channels, CRM, and website optimisation.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital trends, tools, and best practices.
Skills & Experience Required
- 4+ years' experience in digital/performance marketing (ideally in DTC, FMCG, or lifestyle brands).
- Proven track record of managing paid campaigns and driving measurable growth.
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads Manager, and CRM/email platforms.
- Experience using Shopify and managing an e-comm storefront.
- Experience managing SEO strategy and website optimisation projects.
- Ability to design and implement CRM automations, segmentation, and reporting.
- Analytical mindset with strong numeracy skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Confidence in budget management and performance reporting.
- Experience with drinks, hospitality, or lifestyle industries.
- Knowledge of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) methodologies.
- Experience with creative briefing for performance assets.
- Understanding of attribution modelling and multi-touch performance tracking.
