As a VFX Production Coordinator at Black Kite Studios, you will be a crucial part of our Production team. You will work across a wide variety of high end VFX projects and will play a key role in ensuring that we deliver outstanding creative work on time and on budget. You will work with our Producers and EP’s on larger scale projects and briefs, as well as having the opportunity to lead on smaller budget / smaller scale projects in time.
Responsibilities
- Support the Producers & EP’s with a wide range of tasks including bidding, scheduling, shot list creation & general project set up.
- Managing the flow of communication between departments.
- Liaising with Scheduling on artist assignment / bookings, always ensuring we have the right talent on the right projects.
- Building strong relationships with the Production & Creative teams.
- Attending dailies sessions, taking, distributing and following up on notes and feedback.
- Reviewing schedules regularly to ensure projects are on track, escalating any issues to the Producer / Leads & Supervisors.
- Liaising with our outsource partners, sending out shots for Tracking, Roto/Prep, and working with our Leads and Supes to ensure that what we receive back is as expected/quoted.
- Ensuring CETA is up to date for any / all projects you are working on.
- Setting up ShotGrid pages and helping to develop and refine our overall workflows within it.
- Assisting with sending out WIPS/ links to clients, ensuring best practice communication at all times.
- Supporting the pitching process as needed, helping to create decks as required.
- Ad hoc Production administration & support as needed.

- You have prior experience working as a Production Coordinator on high end VFX projects, across Advertising, TV or Film.
- You have a solid understanding of the VFX pipeline.
- You have an understanding of Colour Grading / workflows relating to it.
- You have experience working with CETA or other bidding and scheduling software.
- You want to progress your career in Advertising VFX Production.
- You are highly organised.
- You are a great team player.
- You are an excellent problem solver.
- You are a great multi-tasker, able to balance priorities effectively.
- You have excellent communication skills – both verbal and written & are confident dealing with people of all levels of seniority.

- Experience working with ShotGrid or FTrack would be a plus.
