The 2D ARTIST ROLE at BLACK KITE
As a 2D Artist at Black Kite, you will be responsible for delivering creative excellence from pitch through to delivery across a range of high-profile creative VFX projects. You will work closely with VFX Supervisors and Leads to seamlessly integrate all layers or elements of a shot, including live-action and CG elements.
Your responsibilities include:
- Create outstanding creative VFX work.
- Seamlessly integrate live action and computer-generated elements into visual effects shots that realise the vision and creative direction of our clients.
- Develop visual solutions for a broad range of shots in collaboration with the VFX Supervisor and other artists.
- Use a wide range of compositing techniques and processes, including but not limited to: 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering of elements, and colour grading to produce beautiful work.
- Collaborate and proactively communicate with the wider VFX team to ensure we deliver creative excellence at all times.

You have a history of delivering outstanding VFX work across Commercials, TV, or Film. You possess strong working knowledge of Flame or Nuke and other industry-standard compositing software. You have a great eye and a problem-solving attitude, are a team player, and strive to deliver excellence at all times. You have a strong understanding of the whole VFX pipeline and are keen to learn and expand your skills.
