The role…
Our Managers are the true foundation of our success, and we are looking for someone who can make a real impact in the business. The main responsibilities for an Assistant Manager are:
Ensuring the company culture and 5* Values are being communicated and upheld by the team. Ensuring that our service standards and procedures are always followed.
Overseeing daily operation, which includes being reactive to the changes of the business and maintaining a flexible yet consistent and positive attitude regardless of the situation. Stock control, training, cash handling and people management.
Demonstrating effective cost management, while showing a solid understanding of P&Ls and KPIs. Creating rotas and managing labour margin.
Displaying a strong knowledge of compliance management such as licensing, risk assessment and health and safety procedures
Being an inspirational and motivated leader to your team, by focusing on your employees and how they can best thrive in their roles, while always being aware of the delicate distinctions between personalities and their ways of working.
Build relationships with all employees and use these to guide and motivate them towards delivering unforgettable experiences.
We\'re looking for someone who is:
- A passionate and approachable people manager, with excellent communication skills, who takes a keen interest in their employees\' wellbeing.
- A self-motivated person who takes their role seriously and aims to develop their own skills.
- Someone who is passionate about customer service, food, and drink.
- A methodical manager who is thorough in their problem solving and likes a challenge.
- An honest and hardworking team player.
- Hospitality Management: previous experience required.
- Hotel Management: experience preferred.
