Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements
- Must be resident within Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield area in West Yorkshire or its environ.
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
- A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals in need.
