Help launch an interview‑led podcast for our Each One Teach One Mentoring Platform! Our vision is for churches to facilitate community mentoring. We need a creative media lead to host redemptive conversations, interview change‑makers & manage content from editing to social distribution.

Mentorship has the power to completely change the trajectory of a young person's life, but bridging the gap between busy professionals and eager undergraduates requires powerful storytelling. We cannot scale our impact without a voice. By building our podcast and social media presence, your work will directly drive mentor sign‑ups, mentee and student registrations. You won't just be creating content; you will be creating the gateway that connects a vulnerable or ambitious youth with the life‑changing guidance they need.

Why this role matters

Your skills will amplify conversations that can truly educate, guide, and inspire a global audience, giving a powerful voice to a crucial community cause. Ultimately, this role ensures our platform can reach more churches, empower more mentors, and uplift the next generation.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a creative storyteller who is passionate about using media for real‑world impact. Our ideal volunteer is a confident communicator who can make guests feel at ease while navigating deep, meaningful conversations.

Essential Experience & Skills (Most Important)

  • Interviewing & Hosting: Proven experience hosting or presenting interview‑led audio or video content (such as podcasts, YouTube series, or panel discussions).
  • Platform Expertise: Hands‑on experience with YouTube optimization, channel management, or content distribution, alongside familiarity with remote recording platforms like Riverside.fm.
  • End‑to‑End Content Production: Ability to manage the content journey, including basic video/audio editing and re‑purposing long‑form content into short, punchy social media assets.
  • Digital Media Management: Practical experience handling social media content, event promotion, or digital marketing pipelines.

Desirable Qualities (A Great Plus)

  • Community‑Minded: Experience volunteering or working as a media lead within a charity, faith‑based, church, or community organisations.
  • Active Listener: A background or interest in fields like coaching, mentoring, education, or care, bringing strong interpersonal skills and empathy to interviews.
  • Self‑Starter: The ability to work independently, manage a flexible remote schedule, and confidently interface with leaders, experts, and change‑makers.

Remote: This is a fully remote and highly flexible volunteer commitment designed to sit easily alongside your existing professional work.

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a creative, self‑motivated Podcast Host & Media Lead to help launch and shape a brand‑new, interview‑led video podcast series for our Each One Teach One Mentoring Platform. ChurchGOers.app has a clear vision to mobilise churches to provide vital community mentoring. Through our "Digital Ark" ecosystem, we connect undergraduates and youth with experienced mentors to guide their career and personal development. We also host major community‑wide initiatives, such as Mentoring Summits and Youth Career Conferences. While we have the strategic framework and core messaging in place, we need a talented media creator to bring these stories to life.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Host & Interview: Lead high‑quality video and audio interviews with mentors, community leaders, and professionals, creating a warm environment where guests can share impactful stories.
  • Content Pipeline Management: Take ownership of the content journey by editing/repurposing full interviews into high‑impact social media clips, audiograms, and quote graphics.
  • Digital Promotion: Manage and execute a promotional strategy across social platforms to drive awareness for the mentoring platform and our upcoming events.
