We are working with a local business who supply into the construction, quarrying and agricultural sectors to recruit for their new permanent Accounts Assistant / Administrator. Office based, working 9-5 and within a busy, small and supportive team you will:
- Processing invoice and payments
- Sales & purchase ledger
- Monthly reconciliations
- Calculating and processing weekly payments for wages
- Preparation and reconciliation of monthly PAYE returns
- Preparation of Financial Accounts/Producing Year End Accounts
- Preparation of Monthly & Quarterly Management Accounts; Profit & Loss Statement/Balance Sheet/Cash Flow statements
- Preparation of Profit & Loss projections/ cash flow forecast
What we are looking for:
- 2 years + experience in a similar role
- Experience of using SAGE
- Payroll experience is desirable
- Intrastat system experience
